Description
The Firestone Roadhawk 2 235/45 R18 98Y XL is a next-generation high-performance summer tire engineered for drivers who demand precise handling, confident braking, and stable high-speed performance. Its 235 mm footprint provides a broad contact area for strong road grip and responsive cornering, while the low-profile 45-series design enhances steering response and driving precision. The reinforced XL (Extra Load) construction provides additional structural support for vehicles with higher load requirements, including selected modern electric and performance vehicles. With a 98 load index supporting up to 750 kg per tire and a Y speed rating for speeds up to 300 km/h under specified conditions, the Roadhawk 2 is designed for demanding summer driving while maintaining a balance between performance, durability, and everyday usability.
The Firestone Roadhawk 2 235/45 R18 98Y XL is suitable for compatible sporty passenger cars, performance sedans, and selected electric vehicles equipped with the 235/45 R18 tire size. Vehicle compatibility depends on the exact model, year, trim, load requirements, and manufacturer-approved specifications.
Always verify the recommended tire size, load index, speed rating, and XL requirement in your vehicle owner’s manual or tire placard before purchasing.
